Dr. Marty Marks began his teaching career in 1981 at Mounds High School near Tulsa. He has been teaching band ever since. Recently, he retired after teaching music for 43 years in Oklahoma and Michigan. Dr. Marks also retired from the Army Reserve in November 2021 after 38 years of service as a National Guard and Army Reserve Soldier and Band Commander.
