Marshall Hill

Native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Marshall Sloan Hill attended Tennessee Tech University, studying composition under renowned concert band composer Robert Jager. In 1977, Hill joined the Air Force bands program as trumpeter and later, staff arranger, where he served for nine years. A retired IT professional, Hill now spends his days writing, recording, and mastering. You may see some of his works published under his stage name, Slappy Hines.
