In addition, he has served as a piano collaborator for professional choir and instrumental ensembles. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the Adventist University of Colombia, a Masters degree in Choral Music Education from VanderCook School of Music in Chicago, IL, and he is Doctoral Candidate at Concordia University Chicago. Currently, Belford is the Choir director and instructor professor at Benedictine University, IL, Music Director at Cantores Community Choir, and Music Director at Hinsdale United Methodist Church. Additionally, he is the Jazz piano collaborator for the Illinois Music Educator Association (ILMEA).
