Benjamin Martinez-Lizaola

Benjamin Martinez-Lizaola (b. 2001) is a Mexican-American composer whose works have been performed by collegiate ensembles and public schools across the country.

His piece Groovy Oysters was a finalist in the Colorado Wind Ensemble's 2025-2026 Inclusive Repertoire Award competition, and his work The Stream Under a Bridge earned third place in the 2025 Phi Beta Mu Claude T. Smith Memorial Composition Contest.
