Charles Smith

Charles Joseph Smith was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He earned a BM in Piano degree at Roosevelt University-Chicago (1994, cum laude), and earned MM and DMA in Piano degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1995, and 2002). He started composing music at age 10, and started playing piano at age 8.
