Richard Chiarappa, (composer, conductor, educator), has taught for 39 years at the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, CT. Arrangements of those works for schools and community orchestras can be found on the JWP site, as well as his many works for school string orchestras, and his most recent "A Broadway Style Birthday." "The Miraculous Staircase" (an opera in one act), and his historical musical "Lincoln and Booth," can be rented through Clear Mud Publications; the link is below. He and his wife reside in West Hartford, CT where Richard is the founding music director of the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
