Edgar Girtain (b.1988) is an American composer with a catalog of over 100 works for orchestra, mixed choirs, chamber music, solo voices, and instruments. A teacher and music director, he trained at various conservatories and universities in and outside of New York, studying composition primarily with Charles Fussell, a distringuished disciples of Virgil Thomson, and David Felder, an American composer and avant-grade figure in contemporary music.
