Natal Portugues

Natal Português is a concert band work featuring a two‑part children’s choir, based on three traditional Portuguese Christmas songs. With a duration of approximately 14 minutes, it blends folk melodies with new harmonizations, orchestral colors, and original transitions, preserving the intimate and luminous character of the tradition. The children’s choir writing is very easy, suitable for school or community groups, while the band parts present a medium level of difficulty, appropriate for experienced wind ensembles and symphonic bands. This piece is ideal for Christmas concerts, seasonal galas, school events, community projects, themed programs, and cultural celebrations highlighting Portuguese musical heritage.
