  energy to a classic favorite.  It

New chart--old favorite!  This arrangement of the classic evergreen "Indiana" ("Back Home in Indiana") is hard-hitting and fun to play.  The chart has big harmonies and rhythmic swagger, while being true to the original tune.  There are creative chord changes throughout and opportunity for several solos, including flugelhorn.  Recorded by the Budapest Scoring Big Band.  Medium difficulty.

A straight ahead, medium swing classic popularized by Sinatra and many
  others. The chart starts in the standard key (G) and modulates to C for the
  piano (or guitar) solo. Also features trumpet solo, and a nice ensemble shout

Swingin' Down the Lane

A classic Sigmund Romberg standard, "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise" is scored for 13 piece big band, with a beautifully conceived vocal by the incomparable Jennifer Grimm.   different feel from the big band closer of years ago. The arrangement
  features solos for vibraphone and/or piano, as well as trumpet and
  tenor.  There's also a section where
  guitar and drums trade eights.  The
  last chorus finishes big with full band, modulating up a half step at the

I'll See You In My Dreams

The Jewish Wedding Medley is a concert arrangement featuring several traditional wedding songs.  There's plenty of action for horn, as well as for piccolo trumpets.  A tuba and horn duet is featured on the traditional song played at the wedding of the last daughter.  A raucous closer ends the arrangement.

  Later, there is an alto solo with tasteful backup by the

Tico Tico is a well-known Brazilian favorite that features plenty of piccolo trumpet work throughout.  Low brass and horn are featured, and a powerful ending drives the piece home.

The surprise intro to Limehouse Blues sets up a full brass first chorus.  The middle section gives everyone a chance to open up.  A funk-inspired chorus sets up a big finish to this long-running jazz favorite.

  Darin. Brass and saxes do some nice answering back and forth throughout.  Tenor soloist can open up nicely on this
  chart, followed by guitar solo.  The

All By Myself

This up-tempo flag waver starts with a drum solo that leads into an F
  major opening chorus with the full band at a "Cherokee" tempo.  Solos for tenor, trumpet and piano
  follow--or any soloists you want.  A
  unison ensemble section provides contrast, using a heavy 4/4 swing in G
  major.  The final chorus ends with a

Oh Lady Be Good

Everyone loves Berlin's Alexander's Ragtime Band.  The chart opens with a fun, medium-up vibe.  The first chorus is followed by a trombone solo with answering interludes from the rest of the band.  A couple of key changes lead to an accelerando to close out the tune.

Poor Butterfly is an enduring standard, a ballad that has been performed for years.  The piece opens with a beautiful horn solo, backed by tuba.  Full harmonies fill out the arrangement.
