New Pageants for Piano: a Method of Progressive Pieces for the Early Years

Piano Pageant 3 offers a progressive continuation of the earlier Pageant books and presents intermediate level pieces which feature much greater movement around the keyboard. It also extends the note range to two octaves above and below middle C, introduces sixteenth notes and triplets, key signatures through two flats and three sharps, and covers most of the standard tempos, expression and articulation markings. The student who is ready for "Piano Pageant: Book 3" is also ready to begin Book 1 of the "New Recital Pageants." These intermediate to late intermediate level pieces provide recital repertoire to supplement the basic Pageant books. Books 2 through 4 of "New Recital Pageants" continue through the intermediate level. Please note: all of the items listed below, along with Piano Pageant 3, are at the intermediate level. �
