Newsies: The Musical - Study Unit

Entertaining and educational, "Newsies: The Musical" provides numerous opportunities to teach about history, child labor laws, and labor unions. In this unit, you will find 19 questions that cover the plot, perfect for while the students watch the film or as a quiz after they finish. Eight extension activities are also included: creative writing, comparing strikes in U.S. history, a newspaper project, and more. Choose at least one activity to extend students' knowledge, or do all eight! If you complete all of the activities, this unit can last two to three weeks or more.
