Next to Normal

This 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner about a dysfunctional suburban family tells the story of a mother who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effect her illness has on her family. Composed by Tom Kitt with lyrics by Brian Yorkey, Next to Normal won Tony Awards for Best Original Score, Best Orchestration and Best Leading Actress in a Musical (Alice Ripley).

This CD, produced by Pocket Songs, contains 24 tracks, featuring 12 hit songs from the show. Tracks 1-12 contain the background tracks with guide vocals; tracks 13-24 contain the accompaniment tracks alone. This album is a re-recording in the original show key and show tempo.  When played on a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen. In a conventional CD player no graphics will appear onscreen, however, a booklet of the lyrics is enclosed in the CD jewel case.
