This suite of three contrasting movements is sure to fire the imaginations of young string players! Tremolo, pizzicato, harmonics, tapping and even screaming are just some of the fun things a beginning ensemble will find fun. Bumps in the Dark will have listeners on the edge of their seats. The gentle and pensive Far Away Dreams will allow younger players to explore lyrical playing. Shooting Stars brings feelings of excitement and wonderment of celestial spheres. The melodic interest throughout the suite is shared by various sections of the orchestra, encouraging listening within the ensemble.
