This cello solo features 9|8 meter, three beats of three pulses each, a
  strong driving force in music.  It is
  about five minutes long.  The form is
  three parts: A-B-A.  The A parts are in
  9|8 time and vigorous in mood.   The
  middle part is in 3|4 (triple meter with duple subdivisions), slightly slower
  and more lyrical.  Only standard bowing
  and pizzicato is employed.
    
    
    
    The Intermezzo  was performed on
  YouTube in 2020 by Ovidiu Marinescu. 
  It is an attractive solo which is accessible and engaging to the
  chamber music audience.

Cello Solo

This viola solo explores the rich sonorities of the instrument.  It is 4 minutes long in two equal sections,
  slow and fast.  The tonal center is
  B-flat with excursions to C and F in the course of winding modulations.  A dramatic passage of accented wide leaps
  across the strings occurs in both sections. 
  The last measure has three strummed B-flat major chords, the only use
  of a technique other than normal bowing.

Fantasy for Viola Solo

Viola Solo

A short piece (2'15") in a slow 6/8 meter typical of a Pastorale.   In an A-B-A form, the piece starts and ends gently with a buildup in the middle, especially in an agitated piano part.  The viola is at a moderate level of difficulty and the piano is a bit harder.  The tonality is E major with excursions into atonality.  Good for a church service.

Viola Duet

The composer wrote this for his son who played cello in the middle school
  orchestra.  Fairly easy cello part and
  medium level piano accompaniment.  It
  is about 3 minutes in length.  It would
  make a good Solo/Ensemble competition piece.
