Noel Nouvelet - Carillon for solo piano

This setting of the traditional French melody uses fast moving and ringing bell-like patterns to bring a feeling of jubilant excitement. Although originally a Christmas carol, 'Sing we now of Christmas', it is today more often sung as an Easter carol to the words 'Now the green blade rises'. Whichever text is used, the tune radiates joy and happiness.
