Carol of the Birds

This Catalonian carol has been recorded by many singers, including Joan Baez, and it was a favorite of master cellist Pablo Casals. Now arranged for women's voices, it beautifully conveys the exclamations of the sparrow, the finch, and the partridge, each expressing its feelings about the birth of the Christ child.
