O Come, Have a Plateful

A delightful, humorous mash-up/parody of several Christmas carols, including Ding, Dong, Merrily on High, Angels We Have Heard on High, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Deck the Halls, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. ’Twas the show before Christmas, when all through the hall, The patrons were list’ning, alert one and all. The singers were caroling loudly and clear In hopes they imparted good holiday cheer. Now as they all harmonized sweetly in thirds, Their hunger induced them to mix up the words. While visions of sugarplums danced in their head, They sang not of Christmas, but of feasting instead.
