O Come, O Come Emmanuel

The beckoning text and mysterious flavor of this 12th century plainsong have made this a favorite Advent piece for centuries. It is the new harmonies Petker introduces that separate this arrangement from others. Originally a piece for string orchestra it was first published for men's voices and has remained a favored choice for years.  This new setting for SATB voices and organ is a welcomed revoicing for church and school choirs.
