O Sacred Head, Now Wounded

Part of the beauty of this expressive arrangement is the way the arranger, Arnold Sherman, keeps the dynamics under control until just the right moment to let the work expand.  Filled with sensitive counterlines and carefully chosen harmonies, this finely honed setting considers the deepest meaning of this hymn and then brings it to full expression in the handbell medium.  Very well done!
