Oh Dios de Luz y Oscuridad/O God of Day and God of Night

This song is intended for use as a hymn for Night Prayer (Compline) of the Liturgy of the Hours, in which the people gathered turn their hearts to God at the end of the day before retiring for the night. The song is easily sung entirely in either English or Spanish but can also be done bilingually by alternating the languages. The flute arrangement can be played by an oboe, a cello, or any other solo instrument and adds a beautiful color as it weaves throughout the hymn.
