Oh, Sally

This is a TBB arrangement of a song written in memory of my beloved 2012 Nissan Sentra, which I have named Sally. She is getting old, and I wanted to make a piece dedicated to my love for the vehicle and the memories I have made with it. This is a bittersweet tune; notes of nostalgia, unconditional love, and heartbreak should be conveyed in the way the piece is sung. There are no accents or dynamics written in the score. This is because the piece should be nearly completely up to the interpretation of the ensemble or small group that is performing. Definitely not because I'm lazy. It's deeper than that. There are also three solo sections written in, ideally for two soloists. The first two sections should be respectfully divided between the two soloists, while the third section should be performed as a duet between the two soloists. Hypothetically. In my noggin, that's how it goes down. Please have fun with this piece. It is immensely heartfelt and meticulously composed... but really just have a blast with this one.
