Ohio Skylines

Home of "The Buckeyes," Ohio is also the home to the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world! This solo is comprised of four movements that let the student travel through the different cultural aspects of the state of Ohio: Buckeye Fanfare, Taking Flight, Boom Town and Rockin' at the Hall. Each of the four movements is lively and entertaining, with the grand finale in the fourth movement being in the rock and roll style! Outstanding and a lot of fun! Two movements in this suite are written with displaced accents and in irregular meter. They are Boom Town and Buckeye Fanfare.
