Okina Kuri No

This traditional Japanese folk tune about a towering chestnut tree has been set in a lovely, flowing setting for two-part choirs. With limited text, this is a wonderful opportunity to present a Japenese text to young singers and explore Japenese folk music. Light percussion including hand drum and triangle provides a rhythmic groove, and a floating flute part ties the arrangement together for an authentic yet accessible selection!
