Hoist the sails and cast off with this rollicking hornpipe for strings and optional piano. Written to give younger students exposure to changing time signatures and accidentals, it starts and ends in 3/4 time (with a one to the bar feel) with a contrasting middle section in 4/4. If used, the piano part adds a degree of flair to the finished work.
