On the Quarter Deck March

The composer, Frederick J. Ricketts, wrote his famous marches under the pseudonym Kenneth J. Alford. This great march was written in 1917 during the World War I and commemorates the Battle of Jutland. It has all the hallmarks that make English marches so unique; the stately tempos and distinct regal air will add a majestic note to concert programs.
