One Hour to Madness and Joy

Assembled from passages in Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass, this work conceptually compares his rolling verses with those of the Psalms. Accompanied by organ with one percussion instrument featured in each of the four movements to give each movement a unique perspective on the voice of God.
