Our Old Town is a popular song for 3 part female voices (SSA or SAA) although the lower alto part could be sung by tenor voices. The message behind the song is that the strength of a community lies in its people, even if the physical infrastructure of the town is falling into decay. Ultimately it is a song of hope that, whatever situation we find ourselves in now, we can look forward to a brighter future.
