Most everyone will eventually face the struggle of overcoming some kind of addiction at some point in their life, whether it's their own or that of a loved one. This complete show tackles that topic, starting with an opener itemizing a list of the most common addictions we all face. Bad habits are hard to overcome - they can lead to some exciting thrills, but the thrill ride quickly comes to an end as the addiction pulls its victim down. The show continues down the path of hitting the bottom, but then finding the inner strength to rally and fight, defeat the addiction, and celebrate the victory. Musical genres featured in the show include a big band swing opener, an EDM change of pace, a sweeping Broadway-style ballad, a pop-rock setup song, and a gospel closer.
