"Pachyderm Parade" is the third tune in my new series. "Tiered Tunes" is a new type of young band arrangement designed specifically to appropriately challenge all members of a band despite a wide variation of skills levels. All tiers are included for all instruments.
This is a quirky little march in Phrygian mode, with a smooth contrasting section in the middle in the relative Major (Bb). It isn't as hard as the trills and 16ths make it sound, but is great for a second year band of varying skills.
