Here is an absolute classic from the Glenn Miller Orchestra and a "must-have" for every band's library. The original GMO chart was scored by Jerry Gray at a time when the GMO only carried 6 brass. Reproduced here is the original chart with the brass augmented to a full 8 voices. The two main solos for trumpet and tenor sax are written out in full, as played. Even included are on-stage performance directions for your brass players, when the trombones are glissing and the trumpets fanning their hats, so that your band can not only reproduce the Miller sound, they can look visually slick too. The saxophones are scored AATTB throughout, with no doubles.
