This arrangement of the familiar Advent hymn is ideal for a beginning ensemble or when limited rehearsal time is a factor. The melody is heard in the treble layer and again in the battery bells, giving an opportunity to teach balance between melody and accompaniment. A simplified meter and limited bell changes make the piece accessible. A jaunty little tambourine part adds excitement.
