Perpetuation

The ostinato that permeates this piece represents the perpetual motion of daily life.  Three themes are used throughout the piece and appear in each section of the band giving every performer a chance to shine.  The brisk tempo remains constant except for one brief moment before resuming the original pace.  Your students will encounter a few challenging rhythms, but will feel rewarded once they are mastered. A solid concert or contest selection.
