We all love our pets, and every day seems to bring a new set of adventures! Presto Puppies features rising scale patterns and some surprising dissonances. Cantabile Kitties expresses the more subdued nature of our feline friends. Intervals of the major seventh recall a kitten lazily sprawling out and yawning. Con Brio Birdies depicts the chattering of birds with repeated quavers and soft dissonances. Fun harmonics, regular pizzicato, left-hand pizzicato, and Bartok pizzicato appear throughout the suite.
