Piano Solo in E Major

Piano Solo in E Major was written in dedication to friendship, laughter and late-night conversations. This intermediate level piano solo by Collin Otteson flows through the relationship of two friends who journey the thoroughfare of life. The composition begins with uncertainty, resolving into the primary melody at measure 10. A "minor" moment at measure 23 gives the performer and audience a taste of turmoil in the friendship, resolving, once again to the primary melody. The "piu mosso" section at measure 40 shows the wide world and the journey each friend will take individually. In closing, the primary melody returns like a welcome memory.
