Description: Play All Day is a happy little piece written in the key of C Major, but with neither hand in the C position. It has an F sharp and uses a two-note 8th note pattern which repeats up two octaves. It ends with a repeated pattern which ends on the lowest C of the keyboard. Purpose: This selection will help the student learn to read more proficiently and become more confident in playing both high and low notes on the piano. This piece contains a text which fits the melody and will help the students to play the eighth note rhythm more easily. Reading on ledger lines of C, D and E with the left hand is presented. Suggestions for Instruction: This would be a great one to sing together a few times, or perhaps the teacher could play it while the students say or sing the words.
