This recently rediscovered short set of preces and responses was composed while Trendell was an organ scholar at Exeter College, Oxford, in 1985. Unaccompanied and with English texts throughout, these pieces reflect his consummate musicianship and liturgical sensitivity and are useful in worship settings.
