The anonymous hymn "More Love," originated in the Shaker community in Canterbury, New Hampshire in the latter part of the 19th century. Several fine choral treatments of this tune have been published, but I felt a need for a meditative organ prelude on the tune. This is a lovely, sweet 4-1/2-minute piece to use as a prelude to a wedding, a sacred service, or as a slow-things-down change of pace in a recital program. Savor this one.
