Preludio y Fuga para Clarinete y Piano

The fundamental idea of this cycle is to develop a relevant and significant theme, highlighting qualities of each instrument. The clarinet opens the short introduction in a recitative manner, and then a calm theme appears which continues with a peaceful accompaniment, but with certain rhythmic insistence which searches foe the theme of the fugue, which handles different melodic schemes in a symmetrical manner.
