Promenade and Ballet of the Chicks in Their Shells

Taken from the popular Moussorgsky classic, this arrangement has been cleverly adapted for the mallet ensemble by David Steinquest.  Written for six to seven performers, this two and a half minute work also includes some auxiliary percussion.  Instrumentation includes bells, xylophone, vibraphone, marimba, bass drum, triangle, suspended cymbal, snare drum and ratchet.
