Quintet No. 3

Quintet No. 3 for brass quintet begins in C minor with a fast and tense melody. Throughout the piece, the initial melody is contrasted with a slower and solemn tune. The music moves later to G minor and finally A minor. The meter is 2/4 throughout and pulses steadily at a fast rate right on to the end.
