The Radetzky March is a concert march written in 1848 by Johann Strauss Sr., the father of the "Waltz King," his son Johann Strauss Jr. It was written in Vienna to honor the victory over Italian forces at the battle of Custoza, led by Field Marshal Joseph Radetzsky.
