Recess Suite

Three movements of beloved childhood playground games Ring Around the Rosie; Hopscotch and Tag come to life in this playful work for budding string orchestra students. These selections are accessible and enjoyable, progressing in difficulty from Grades 0.5 to 1.5, so that directors can choose to perform one, two, or all three of them, according to the abilities of their students. All sections have a melody, and vital developmentally appropriate learning concepts are explored throughout all the movements.
