This is a rousing SATB arrangement of the "Pisgah" tune as seen in Kentucky Harmony (1816), featuring mixed chorus, cello, and piano.  Easy to put together, it will become a choir favorite, and will have the congregation tapping their toes to the driving rhythm.  A TTBB arrangement is also available.

This "classic" Palm Sunday anthem has been transcribed here in 12/8 and the more accessible key of G.  Each of the three verses is presented with a different choral approach to add variety and interest.

<p>"Requiem," an original composition written for unaccompanied choir, sets text from the Latin Requiem Mass, and is thus suitable in church for All Saints Day and/or Memorials, but is also suitable for the concert stage. It was one of six finalists in the 2007 Ithaca College Choral Composition Competition. Audio preview is of the last 60 seconds of the piece.</p>

Requiem

This arrangement fits a Transfiguration text from the "Sarum Breviary" to a familiar tune harmonized by J.S. Bach.  Easy to put together quickly while providing the classic Bach sound.  An optional C instrument adds some depth.

O Wondrous Sight, O Vision Fair!

This brief anthem is a slightly different take on this hymn, using different hymn tunes to bring an upbeat spice to the familiar text.  It could be learned quickly and so may be particularly useful in the summer season.

Climbing Jacob's Ladder

Christina Rossetti's poem "Good Friday" is set in a minor mode
  here to reflect the solemn text.  This
  is an easy to learn anthem of three verses with a dramatic organ
  accompaniment.

This delightful tune by John Stainer is an interesting alternative to the tune normally associated with this text.  A short anthem, it is masterfully arranged and full of potential.

Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

A delightful, bouncy tune set simply here for SAB Chorus.  Addition of a C Instrument (Oboe recommended) adds depth to this energetic anthem.

And Can It Be?

For Church Musicians: when planning your music selections for Lent, "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross" is a favorite selection.  For a new approach, take a look at this setting of the familiar text to a different tune, "Hereford" by Samuel S. Wesley, for a taste of the English Cathedral hymnody.  Set in Hymn Anthem style, each verse uses the choral resources in a different way, ending with a soaring descant over unison choir on the last verse.

O Quanta Qualia (How Great the Joy) is a setting of several Latin text fragments selected to reflect the celebration of All Saints Day.  It is a 5+ minute, a cappella piece for an advanced choir in Rondo form, featuring several departures from traditional tonal notation.

This harmonically rich original setting of Christina Rossetti's Romantic poem contrasts a soloist with a background of SATB voices echoing Pachelbel's Canon progression. May be performed with or without accompaniment.

The First Day

A setting of the Charles Wesley poem, "If Death My Friend and Me Divide," this original composition features chromatic harmony to emphasize the melancholy nature of the text.  Suitable for All Saints Day and for funerals.

This one minute (plus) piece for a TTBB chorus sets a traditional Gaelic
  Prayer. Appropriate as a "filler" or a concert/service closer.

An original setting of Sidney Lanier's well-known poem, this accessible anthem is perfect for Lent or Holy Week.  The cello adds a measurable depth to the work.

Into the Woods My Master Went

This arrangement of a familiar hymn by Robert Lowry features a soloist and trumpet to add variety to the presentation of each verse.  The choir will enjoy singing it and the audience will be tapping their feet.
