- I wrote this piece with every
intention to cover rhythms that a beginner may cover in his/her first year of
instruction. The wind players can get
a sense of what it is like to be a percussionist with all the 8th note
rhythms present in and around the piece.
Take a journey into the rhythms of the mind! This piece is set in Concert E flat scale,
but do not worry, most of the parts go 6-8 notes of what the student should
know for his/her instrument. I would
program this piece as a spring concert fun piece, to give your students ample
time to develop range and rhythmic flexibility. Have fun with this awesome piece!
