Riding with Eagles

Huntsmen in Kazakhstan use eagles to help them catch food before releasing them back into the wild. This piece uses a strong, driving theme to depict the hunters as they ride, with exciting meter changes, Bartok pizzicato, and shrill harmonics. A contrasting middle section with a pensive melody leads back to a thrilling conclusion.
