This arrangement of this Easter classic majestic expresses the joy of the day. The staccato notes throughout add a great deal and may be thumb damped or malleted with the bells on the table. Handchimes enter later in the arrangement and add a beautiful mellow sound in the lower register. For a musical performance, always take care of the melody when all of the other bells are playing staccato.

Perfect for small choirs and ensembles, this collection for Christmas continues the 12 Bells in F series. Written in the key of F, all the conventional line/space assignments remain the same. There are no bell changes making it easy to ring without tables and in many locations. This original composition engages the listener from the start with a melody that shifts from 3/4 and 6/8 every other measure. This rhythm pattern continues throughout the piece except for a short section of contrast in 4/4. Layers of rhythm patterns create a polyrhythmic feel in places, requiring ringers to stay on their toes!

The full bass chords using the echo are very effective. This one may require a little more work than most Level 2 pieces, but it will definitely be worth it.

The piece echoes the sentiment with a simple, pensive motive that is repeated and enhanced with each iteration. The middle section is more dramatic, using a rhythmically malleted bass line expressing urgency or pleading. The piece segues back to the reflective opening material before quietly ending.
