Rio Nido

This easy tune is based on the Brazilian bossa nova groove. The feel is relaxed throughout and the tune has an AABA form, with the melody passed between brass and saxophones every eight bars before an interlude into the solo section. A brief shout chorus follows the solos for contrast before the recap at the bridge. Stylistically correct, this one will become a teaching and performance favorite!
