“River of Angels” was written to honor and remember the families and those who lost their lives in the 2025 Texas Hill Country floods in Kerrville, Texas, Kerr County, and the surrounding areas. The title of the song was inspired when national news reports showed the flooded area and devastation along the Guadalupe River where someone placed a poster on a tree near the banks of the river. The poster read: “River of Angels.” Our hope is that this song will honor the lives of those lost and bring hope and peace to those who were affected by this tragedy.
