Like the grand landscapes O'Keeffe envisioned at and around her New Mexico home, the music speaks of those places and feelings. Composed in 2025 by Ron Jones who is best known for his many popular film and tv scores.</p>

We all hold a special place in us for home. We all miss home at some point and we want to go back. This piece is for SATB choir with piano. The choir is often a cappella separated by short interludes for the piano. The piece builds and the choir and piano join together. This one is a pretty one with beautiful lines written for each part. The piano plays an important and expressive role rather than simply to give an accompaniment. It is simple but full of emotion. Words and music by Ron Jones.

Each day when I take a walk in my forest the sunlight creates subtly movements of light. It is an ever changing ballet a dance of light. In this string quartet each part interacts and relates like those patterns of light. The parts are fairly demanding but not brutally difficult. The audience can follow the ideas, melodic, rhythmic and harmonic dance as the quartet creates a world of light and shadow.

This piece is all about achieving togetherness and expressing the rhythmic flow. The Via Francigena was an ancient road built by the Romans as a pathway to and from France. The parts are not that difficult in terms of range, but somewhat challenging for its odd meters. Composed by Ron Jones who is best known for his many popular TV and Film scores.
