Eight players will have fun performing this upbeat composition. The mallet parts are written using simple melodies and scale patterns. Rhythmic consideration includes eighth and sixteenth notes in all parts. Snare drum part includes nine- and seventeen-stroke rolls. Audiences of all ages will enjoy hearing this piece. Roundabout would make an excellent solo and ensemble festival number for middle to young high school ensembles.
